World Marine Aids to Navigation Day

July 1, 2025

The United Kingdom will host the main event in London, and all IALA members are invited to attend. The World Marine Aids to Navigation Day will be of particular significance in 2025, being the first event since IALA changed its status from a Non-Governmental to an Intergovernmental Organisation.

Risk Management Course in Lisbon, Portugal

June 23, 2025

The IALA Risk Management Toolbox is a set of tools developed by the IALA to conduct maritime risk assessments. The toolbox includes five tools: IWRAP, PAWSA MK II, SIRA, IRMAS and Simulation. The IALA World-Wide Academy (WWA) provides training based on the “Use of the IALA Risk Management Tools” model course.
