The quantity characteristic of radiant flux which expresses its capacity to produce a luminous sensation, evaluated according to the values of spectral luminous efficiency.
Unless otherwise indicated, the luminous flux in question relates to photopic vision, and is connected with the radiant flux in accordance with the formula adopted in 1948 by the C.I.E.
