VTS57 Launches Global Questionnaire on Operator Competencies
As part of the outcomes from the 57th session of the VTS Committee (March 2025), IALA has launched a questionnaire aimed at identifying the aptitudes and behaviours demonstrated by successful VTS Operators.
This initiative supports the development of future training frameworks, competency standards, and technical guidance to further strengthen Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) globally.
📣 Who Should Participate?
We encourage all VTS Committee members to distribute this questionnaire within their networks. It is intended for anyone involved in VTS provision, including:
- Personnel of Competent Authorities
- VTS Providers
- Training Organisations
