About

Understanding and assessing navigational risk is vital to meet international maritime and regional marine spatial planning obligations, which seek to minimize the risk of accidents, protect the marine environment, and ensure the efficient operation of shipping routes. Taking into account the needs of mariners and infrastructure developers, and the requirements and constraints of Marine Aids to Navigation (AtoN) authorities, IALA regularly offers the opportunity to exchange and compare related experiences and developments. Your next opportunity to join us will be at this IALA Risk Management Seminar, specifically tailored to:

  • Provide insight into current developments in maritime risk management.
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions to share experiences and address practical challenges.
  • Foster networking opportunities.
  • Advance the development of the IMO endorsed IALA Risk Management toolbox.
