About the course
A high-level programme designed for senior management professionals, focusing on the strategic dimensions of Aids to Navigation (AtoN) governance. The course equips participants involved in the provision or oversight of AtoN services with the knowledge and tools required for effective decision-making, policy development, and leadership.
Dates and Venue
The next session of the L.1.2 Master of Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Management course will be hosted by the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Institute for Aids to Navigation.

Attendees
This course is designed for senior management professionals involved in the provision, management, or oversight of AtoN services:
Participants are expected to meet at least one of the following:
- L.1.1 course alumni, ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience as an AtoN manager; or
- At least five years of proven experience as an uncertified AtoN manager within an internationally recognised AtoN service provider; or
- At least five years’ experience within the maritime department of a national Competent Authority or maritime administration

All applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the IALA World-Wide Academy.
Training Delivery
The training will be delivered in a face-to-face setting and will include interactive lectures and practical exercises.
Training fees
The cost of this five-days course is €1,000 and includes all lectures and course materials.
