About the course

The L.1.2 Master of AtoN Management course addresses key aspects of AtoN governance from a strategic perspective aimed at senior management personnel concerned with AtoN service provision or its supervision.

Attendee

The next Master of AtoN Managements course will be held at the Directorate General of Coastal Safety (DGCS) Headquarters in Istanbul, Türkiye, from Monday 06th to 10th April 2026 inclusive.

The course will be taught in English.

Potential participants are expected to meet the following criteria:

  • At least one of the following proven competencies or qualifications:
    – L1.1 course alumni, ideally with at least two years subsequent experience as an AtoN manager; or
    – at least five years evidence backed experience as an un-certified AtoN manager in an internationally recognised AtoN service provider; or
    – at least five years’ experience in the maritime department of a national competent authority or maritime administration.

Candidates not meeting the criteria above, may still apply and should submit an application accompanied by a CV to the IALA World-Wide Academy at academy@iala.int for consideration.

Training Delivery

The training will be taught in a face-to-face setting as well as include exercises and interactive lectures.

Training fees

The cost of this four-day course is €1,000 and includes all lectures and course materials.
